国际留学生走入湖南乡村开启“三下乡”之行

Recently, 20 international students from Hunan University of Chinese Medicine (HNUCM), coming from more than 10 countries including Morocco, South Sudan, Pakistan, and Malaysia, visited Bairuopu Town, Hunan Xiangjiang New Area. They conducted surveys and took part in cultural activities and other activities to promote science and technology and information on health in the countryside.

近日，来自摩洛哥、南苏丹、巴基斯坦、马来西亚等10余个国家的20名湖南中医药大学国际留学生来到湖南湘江新区白箬铺镇，进行调研、参与文化活动并开启“三下乡”之行。

Hunan's rural areas, with smooth highways, chic courtyards, vibrant fields, and characteristic agricultural and tourism industries, have been eye-openers for these foreign friends who have been in China for less than a year.

平整的公路、别致的庭院、生机勃勃的田野、农旅特色产业……湖南农村让这些到中国不足一年的外国友人大开眼界。

Their first stop was the CPC Service Center for the Public of Guangming Village, Bairuopu Town. "Here you can get a glimpse of the modern agricultural garden," said Yi Kai, a "post-00" resident of Guangming Village and a HNUCM student. He introduced his hometown to the international students in fluent English and warmly invited them to taste organic green tea.

留学生们第一站来到白箬铺镇光明村党群服务中心。“在这里可以一览现代农业大观园。”家住光明村的“00后”易凯也是湖南中医药大学学生，他用娴熟英语向留学生们推介自己的家乡，热情招呼大家品尝有机绿茶。

Listening to the explanations of rural promoters, the international students visited various courtyards to further understand the development of China's rural areas. "Although our country is not economically developed, it is very rich in agricultural resources," said an international student from South Sudan. He showed great interest in China's agricultural modernization and carefully recorded examples of rural tourism, and education-agriculture integration.

跟着乡村推介官的讲解，留学生们走进一个个庭院，进一步了解中国农村发展。“我们国家虽然经济不发达，但农业资源非常丰富。”南苏丹留学生盖瑞对中国农业现代化兴趣浓厚，他认真记录着农村旅游、教育与农业融合的案例。

A Moroccan student had a lively discussion with the rural makers, exchanging ideas on upgrading agricultural industry and basic education in the countryside from an international perspective. "From the ecological environment to the infrastructure, the countryside here is so 'modern' everywhere," he said.

来自摩洛哥的留学生与乡村创客们交流十分火热，彼此分享了国际视野下的农业产业升级和乡村基础教育的思考。“无论是生态环境，还是基础建设，这里的农村处处都很现代化！”他说。

"Perceiving, experiencing, and understanding China, international students come to study in China because they want to understand China in a more comprehensive manner," said HNUCM Vice President Liu Hongxiang. He noted that the university encourages international students to learn about China through field visits and real-life experiences, hoping they will share good stories about China's rural revitalization from an international perspective.

“感知中国、体会中国、了解中国，留学生们来中国留学就是希望认知更加全面的中国。”湖南中医药大学副校长刘鸿翔表示。他指出，学校鼓励留学生以实地参访、实景体验等形式了解中国，并希望留学生们用国际视角讲述中国乡村振兴的好故事。

The twenty international students also staged a unique "Rural Concert" with local villagers. They will carry out the "Bringing culture, science and technology, and hygienic health to the countryside" activities for two months, taking field inspection tours in rural areas of Changsha, Xiangtan, Loudi, and Xiangxi.

20名国际留学生还与白箬铺镇村民共同演绎了一台别具特色的“村歌会”。据悉，湖南中医药大学国际留学生“三下乡”活动为期两个月，将走进长沙、湘潭、娄底、湘西等地农村进行实地探访。
