音乐剧《我和我的雷锋》在京首演

On June 7, the touching Chinese musical Me & My Lei Feng made its debut at the Tianqiao Performing Arts Center in Beijing, captivating audiences with its poignant narrative and melodic original songs.

6月7日，中国音乐剧《我和我的雷锋》在北京天桥艺术中心首演。这部感人的音乐剧作品，凭借其触动人心的叙事情节和优美婉转的原创音乐曲目，牢牢吸引住了众多观众。

Running for five shows until June 9, the production is set to return to Beijing in December, promising to continue enchanting theatergoers with its homage to the revered figure of Lei Feng, celebrated for his selflessness and unwavering dedication within Chinese culture.

据悉，该剧在天桥艺术中心演出至9日，共上演5场，随后开启巡演，并将于今年12月重返北京，继续向在中华文化中代表无私奉献精神的模范人物——雷锋致敬，为观众带来精彩演出。

Directed by Jia Ding and Wei Sijia and supported by the Beijing Culture and Arts Fund, the musical boasts a repertoire of over 30 original Chinese songs crafted by Wang Yiwa and He Qi, artfully weaving a narrative that sheds light on Lei Feng's enduring legacy as a symbol of altruism and humility in Chinese society.

由北京文化艺术基金支持，甲丁和魏思佳执导，该音乐剧收录有30多首原创歌曲，均为著名创作人王怡娃及何琪精心制作。借助音乐艺术手法，该剧揭示了雷锋作为中国社会文化中利他主义和谦逊有礼的象征所留下的永恒遗产。

Jia Ding, one of the directors, said: "Many Chinese people, like me, grew up listening to Lei Feng's stories. We aim to introduce his tale to a new generation through this musical, honoring his legacy of selflessness and service."

导演甲丁表示：“很多中国人和我一样，从小就听着雷锋的故事长大。我们希望借由这出音乐剧，向年轻一代讲述他的故事，向雷锋无私奉献的精神致敬。”

A standout moment in the musical is the inclusion of the beloved Chinese song Xue Xi Lei Feng Hao Bang Yang(Learn From the Role Model Lei), composed by Wu Hongyuan and Lou Shengmao, which adds a nostalgic and emotional layer to the production.

剧中的一个亮点是经典音乐曲目《学习雷锋好榜样》，这首歌由吴洪源和娄盛茂作曲，为该剧增添了不少怀旧情感色彩。

Reflecting on the significance of the song, Jia Ding expressed pride in his father, Wu, who penned the timeless piece, emphasizing its enduring popularity among singers, choirs, and music enthusiasts.

在谈到这首歌的意义时，甲丁自豪于父亲吴洪源创作出这首经典作品。他表示，这首歌在许多歌手、合唱团和音乐爱好者中声名远扬。

Lei Feng's legacy traces back to March 5, 1963, when Chairman Mao Zedong commemorated the young soldier in the People's Daily. This tribute led to the establishment of "Learn From Lei Feng Day," honoring him as a role model embodying virtues that continue to inspire generations.

1963年3月5日，毛泽东主席在《人民日报》上为雷锋同志题词纪念，由此而设立了 “学雷锋纪念日 ”，表彰雷锋同志作为榜样模范的美好品德。如今，这些美德仍在激励着一代又一代人。

Born on Dec 18, 1940, in Wangcheng, Hunan province, Lei Feng's remarkable journey from humble beginnings to becoming a revered figure within the People's Liberation Army ended tragically on Aug 15, 1962, due to a fatal accident, leaving behind a legacy that continues to resonate through artistic expressions like Me & My Lei Feng.

从1940年12月18日在湖南望城出生，到1962年8月15日不幸意外身故，雷锋从默默无闻到成长为出色的人民解放军士兵，他传奇一般的人生经历在《我和我的雷锋》等艺术作品中留下了深刻的影响。
