“宁电入湘”工程施工忙

Construction of the Zhongning converter station is under way as part of an ultra-high voltage (UHV) power transmission line stretching over 1,600 km from northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region to central China's Hunan Province.

近日，“宁电入湘”宁夏中宁换流站工程正加紧施工，有序推进。据了解，“宁电入湘”特高压线路工程自中国西北部的宁夏回族自治区延伸至中国中部的湖南省，长达1600多公里。

The project will transmit electricity generated from wind and photovoltaic power stations in China's fourth largest desert, the Tengger Desert.

该项目工程将输送产于中国第四大沙漠——腾格里沙漠中风电光伏基地的电力。

It is expected to be completed in 2025 and has a designed annual power transmission capability of about 36 billion to 40 billion kilowatt-hours.

该工程计划于2025年建成投运，投运后年输送电量将达360亿至400亿千瓦时。
